What Alhamdulillah means

Alhamdulillah is written الحمدللہ in the Urdu script (with diacritics: اَلحَمدُ لِلّٰہ) and means Praise be to God (I am well) in English. It is taught in the Greetings lessons under How Are You?.

Note: The default reply to "how are you?" - even when fine. Saying "main theek hoon" alone can sound flat; pair them: "Alhamdulillah, main theek hoon".
