Ahmad reached school late. The teacher asked, "Why are you late?"
💡 In Pakistani schools, students address teachers as "sir" / "madam" or "ustaad ji" - never by name. Calling a teacher by name is unthinkable. Note "pohncha" (m) - tells you Ahmad is male.
احمد نے کہا، "سر، گاڑی پھنس گئی تھی۔"
Ahmad ne kaha, "Sir, gaari phans gayi thi."
Ahmad said, "Sir, the car was stuck."
استاد نے کہا، "ٹھیک ہے، بیٹھ جاؤ۔ آج ریاضی کا سبق ہے۔"
Ustaad ne kaha, "Theek hai, baith jao. Aaj riyaazi ka sabak hai."
The teacher said, "Alright, sit down. Today's lesson is mathematics."
احمد نے سوال حل کیا۔ استاد نے کہا، "بہت اچھا!"
Ahmad ne sawaal hal kiya. Ustaad ne kaha, "Bahut achha!"
Ahmad solved the problem. The teacher said, "Very good!"
