Bachon ne naye kapray pehne. Bare bachon ne chhoton ko eidi di.
The children put on new clothes. The older ones gave eidi to the younger.
💡 See the "ne" appearing twice? Past-tense transitive verbs require it. "Pehne" matches kapray (m pl); "di" matches eidi (f sg) - the verb tracks the OBJECT, not the giver.
امی نے سویاں بنائیں۔ سب نے مل کر کھایا۔
Ammi ne sevaiyaan banaayin. Sab ne mil kar khaya.
Mom made vermicelli. Everyone ate together.
دادی نے کہا، "اللہ سب کو خوش رکھے۔"
Daadi ne kaha, "Allah sab ko khush rakhe."
Grandmother said, "May Allah keep everyone happy."
